'Pacifier' Role Draws Garrett to Big Screen

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - "Everybody Loves Raymond" co-star Brad Garrett (news) is moving to the big screen, signing on for a supporting role in "The Pacifier," a comedy starring Vin Diesel (news).
The Disney project is scheduled to start shooting next month in Vancouver, with Adam Shankman ("Bringing Down the House") directing.
Diesel plays an undercover agent hired to protect a government scientist and his family. Garrett, a double Emmy-winner for his work on "Raymond," will play a high school coach and principal who is somewhat of a nemesis to Diesel's character.
Also joining the cast is "Catch That Kid" star Max Thieriot, who will play a member of the family alongside "American Dreams" star Brittany Snow (news).
Garrett's recent feature credits include voice parts in "Finding Nemo," "Stuart Little 2" and "The Country Bears."
